Cinnamon Baked Apples


  • 5 medium to large apples, peeled, sliced to 1 inch. 
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice. 
  • ½ cup sugar. 
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon. 
  • 1 pinch nutmeg. 
  • 2 Tablespoons cornstarch. 
  • 1 pinch sea salt. 
  • Water.


  1. Add the apples to the baking dish, pour over lemon juice, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, cornstarch, salt and 2 tbsp of water. 
  2. Rub the apple slices with the mixture until combined. 
  3. Cover the dish with foil. Bake for 45 minutes at 360F. 
  4. Then uncover and cook for 5 minutes. 
  5. Serve warm with vanilla ice-cream
