Oven Roasted Okra
1 pound of okra, trimmed, cut in half.
1 tbsp. olive oil, extra virgin.
1 tsp fresh thyme.
1/2 tsp garlic powder.
Salt and ground black pepper.
- In a bowl mix olive oil, thyme, garlic powder, salt and black pepper.
- Toss in the okra make sure they are well coated.
- Preheat oven to 400F Place on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle with olive oil.
- Roast in the oven for 20 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- Adjust the salt to taste and serve hot.
