Pressure Cooker Butter Chicken


  • 16 ounces Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs. 
  • 4 ounces butter cut into cubes. 
  • 4 ounces Heavy Cream. 
  • 1 can canned Tomatoes. 
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced. 
  • 1-2 teaspoons Ginger, minced. 
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric. 
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin. 
  • 1/2 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper. 
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika. 
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala.


  1. To the pressure cooker add the chicken, canned tomatoes, garlic, and ginger with the spices. 
  2. Stir everything together. Lock the pressure cooker lid and set to pressure cook at high temperature for 14 minutes. 
  3. Release pressure from the cooker then carefully remove the chicken, use a blender to blend the sauce together. 
  4. Add the butter and cooking cream to the sauce stir then add in the chicken back to the pot. 
  5. Serve with the desired topping.
