Pressure Cooker Pumpkin Puree


  • 16 ounces sugar pumpkin, halved with seeds scooped out. 
  • ½ cup of water.


  1. In the bottom of the pressure cooker add ½ cup of water. Then place the rack with the pumpkin on it. 
  2. Cook at high pressure for 15 minutes. 
  3. Let it cool then scoop the flesh in a bowl. 
  4. If you want it to be extra smooth, blend it in a blender then transfer it to a jar.
