Slow Cooker Applesauce


  • 8 medium apples. 
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice. 
  • 1 cinnamon stick. 
  • 5 teaspoons light brown sugar. 
  • 1 tsp nutmeg.


  1. Peel and slice the apples. 
  2. Transfer the apples to the slow cooker, add cinnamon, lemon juice, nutmeg, and brown sugar. 
  3. Set the cooker at low heat and cook for 6 hours while stirring the apples occasionally. 
  4. After the cooking time ends, remove the cinnamon stick and blend with a blender. 
  5. Leave the sauce to cool before transferring it to a jar.
