Slow Cooker Chicken Parmigiana


  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 
  • 2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil.
  • 2 tablespoon garlic powder. 
  • 1 teaspoon of salt and pepper. 
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano. 
  • 1 tbsp. Italian seasoning mix.
  • 1 can of marinara sauce. 
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded. 
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated.


  1. In a bowl mix olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, oregano, salt and black pepper. 
  2. Dry the chicken using a paper towel and rub with spices very well from all sides. 
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a slow cooker, drizzle them with extra olive oil. 
  4. Pour the marinara sauce over each chicken breasts then top it with grated parmesan. 
  5. Cover and Cook in the slow cooker on low heat for 3 hours. 
  6. Then uncover it, sprinkle the chicken with mozzarella, cover again and leave it to cook for another 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
