Slow Cooker Moussaka


  • 400 g minced beef. 
  • 2 chopped tomatoes. 
  • 2 potatoes, thinly sliced. 
  • 1 aubergine sliced. 
  • 1 can of tomato sauce. 
  • 1 cup white sauce/béchamel. 
  • 1 onion chopped. 
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced. 
  • 1 teaspoon allspice. 
  • 1 teaspoon oregano. 
  • Salt and black pepper.


  1. In a pan add oil then stir the onions and garlic until browned. Add in the spices and tomatoes. 
  2. Spray the slow cooker with cooking spray, place the potato slices at the bottom. 
  3. Top it with half of minced beef. Place the aubergine slices on top then add the rest of the minced beef. 
  4. Pour over the tomato paste with the onions, garlic and tomatoes. 
  5. Top it with white sauce. 
  6. Cook on low for 8-10 hours.
