Tofu with Honey Garlic Sauce


  • 14 ounces extra firm tofu, cubed. 
  • Cooking spray. 
  • 1/3 cup honey. 
  • 3/4 Cup Chicken Broth.
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch. 
  • 2 tablespoon sesame oil. 
  • 2 tablespoon minced garlic.
  • 2 tablespoon minced ginger. 
  • 1 teaspoon of salt and pepper. 
  • 2 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce


  1. In a bowl, toss the tofu in the cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, and salt until completely coated. 
  2. Set air- fryer temperature to 400F degrees. Add the tofu to the basket and spray generously with oil, then cook for 10 minutes. 
  3. Shake the basket and continue cooking for another 8 minutes. 
  4. While the tofu is in the air-fryer, heat the sesame oil in a skillet on the stove then add the minced garlic and ginger and stir them together for 20 seconds. 
  5. In a small bowl combine chicken broth, honey, and soy sauce. Then add to the skillet stir together until the sauce is thickened. 
  6. Carefully toss the cooked tofu in the sauce and stir for 1-2 minutes. 
  7. Sprinkle green onions and sesame seeds over the top and serve.
